Discover the iconic six minarets and famous İznik tile interiors. Built in the early seventeenth century by Sultan Ahmed I, it represents the height of classical Ottoman architectural ambition and remains an active place of worship. If restoration work is ongoing, exterior interpretation and photography will be included.
